The first thing a crowd says when hearing one of MRcSp's sets is"Wow, whats is this guys name".
The second thing is "what does cSp stand for?"

Nobody seems to know, but what they do know is they have just witnesses a unique funky soulful house set from one of the UK's top funky house dj's.
The amount of energy and thought that goes into one of his sets is awesome, creating an electric atmosphere throughout the club.
Whether playing to 20 people or 20,000, the energy level remains high.

MRcSp` made his debut behind the wheels of steel at the tender age of 14 playing within one of Londons sound system crews, Matinique Soul Sound which he created himself to fill a void left in the market for the music he loved.
This was the early 80's and Soul, Jazz Funk and Rare Groove was the order of the day not to mention the Lovers Rock and Reggae on the London scene.
Both his brothers were dj's and he soon started playing the club circuit in london having to pretend he was older than he was just to gain entry to the club. Then in came Hip Hop, House & Jungle and from 1989 to 1996 he played exclusively jungle, House & Garage and was a regular selector at (Nelson Mandella Hall Birmingham, Broadway Boulevard Ealing London, Hammersmith Palais, Bagleys Kings Cross London, Alexandra Palace, Camden Palace, Spatz Oxford Street London, The Marquis Charing Cross Road London, The Rex Stratford, Hollywoods Romford and A host of other top clubs in and around London.
During this time MRcSp`was also gaining experience and nurturing his talents on various pirate radio stations in the UK, one of which he championed himself together with the west london posse DJ Barry P (BP Sounds) & Rob H (Funky Soldiers), Breezefm (101.9 W/london & 106.4 E/london), where he soon formulated his own unique style of broadcasting.
MRcSp` also played many beach parties and events in his native island St Lucia, wowing the local crowd with his style of mixing,
In 1996 he played exclusively garage whilst working with his beloved Slinki Sundaes production & promotions team.
Also working with many top uk producers like DRP, Funky Soldiers, DJ Terra(Submuzik.co.uk), Scratcha Dubplate Dan(1xtra) plus working with his own brothers reggae band The Wisdom Band.
He became disillusioned with the drum and bass & UK garage scene and in 2002 decided to take some time away from djing to recharge the batteries, meanwhile still buying music that he loved,"Soulful House".
In 2005 he discovered top London House Station Unknown FM and became a regular listener, it was at one of the stations events that he met DJ Peter P who pushed him in the right direction of Unknown FM.
MRcSp` host's his own breakfast show every Monday & Wednesday on Unknown FM 8-10am(GMT) www.unknownfm.net where his bubbly bouncing show full of CLASSIC.SOULFUL.PROTEIN` has attracted many listeners worldwide.

He regularly plays out and is sought after by many top promoters.
He is a resident at the successful DIAMONDS & DENIM events aswell as working for OPULENCE, GET KNOWN, P-FUNK, FUNKTASTIC SATURDAYS and MIAMI GROOVES playing at many of the capitals top underground house events.

2007 sees MRcSp` going international with tours in Europe and The Carribean in the pipeline.

He is also working on his own music and spend all his spare time in the studio.
